We have been advised by Port Authorities in Dover that due to the Eastern Docks roundabout being resurfaced, there has been an embargo placed on outbound abnormal load shipments from Dover commencing Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th March and in addition Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th March between the hours of 18:00 and 08:00 GMT.

Regrettably, during the above-mentioned timeframe we are unable to accept abnormal load shipments from Dover. Inbound (from France) abnormal loads are OK to ship.

Please note that Inbound (from France) abnormal loads will be able to exit the Port via the south freight lane / Olympic Way.

In addition, please note that Dover Harbour Board will be contraflowing all traffic into the port via the south side of the roundabout from Jubilee Way only. All vehicles accessing the port will need to come this way from 20:00 – 06:00 GMT over both nights. Traffic arriving during these times via the A20 will be diverted from York Street, through the town via Whitfield Hill to pick up the A2 route into the port.
